Chuck Calls For An Early Spring!

The Rock-A-Silly Band and Staten Island Chuck are like Travis and Taylor: meant for each other.   We couldn't have enjoyed performing at the Groundhog ceremony at the Staten Island Zoo any more than we did!    And the “early Spring” call had the crowd going crazy!

Look Who We Met!

The Park Slope tree-lighting this past Saturday was a whole heap of FUN: the crowd was huge, the music was rockin', and we got to hang with the Man in Red, Santa Claus!

Rubber Duckie, you're the one!

There hasn't been a couple this perfect since Johnny Depp and Amber Herd.  Wait, scratch that: there hasn't been a couple like this since….well, since Ernie and Rubber Duckie.   But now that I've performed next to a giant rubber duckie, I can see what Ernie was singing about all those years ago: the duck has a certain je ne sais quoi that's rare in water fowl.   Heck, it's rare in any species.   But, well, now I get it: I truly do.   And I'm grateful that Rubber Duckie agreed to this photo because, let's face it, A-list celebs don't often mingle with great unwashed folks like Mr. Patrick.  #DayMade

Better Late Than Never

This pic is from a show I did with Mr. Mike on August 1st at the National Night Out Against Crime.   Someone had also asked me to play at the National Night Out In Favor of Crime, and I was like, “Dude!   Are you serious?   Mr. Patrick is all about fighting crime!   Bat Man has always been a hero of mine.   Now get the heck away from me!  Stat!”   Anyway, I like the way the sky looks in this pic.   The middle aged guy on stage?   Not so much.   Was I trying to play with my back to the audience, ala Miles Davis or something?   Who knows?   Perhaps Baby Shark resonates just a little deeper when it's played by someone with his back to you.   Anyhow, hope you like the photo.

Super-Silly Summer Solstice Show a Success!!!

A tremendous THANK YOU to everyone who came out to enjoy the fun in Westerleigh Park last night. We are especially grateful to Miss Laura from ET Littles for sharing her super singing skills, for Miss Kerry for her sharing her super sign language skills and to our little buddy Noah for proving that rock-n-roll lives!!!!! (Oh, and to Mother Nature for holding off on rain.). See y'all soon! Stay SILLY!
